“Dawson College is a CEGEP level education center located at 3040 Sherbrook Street West in
Montreal and was chartered in 1968 as the first established English college of its kind in Quebec.
When Dawson first opened its doors, it welcomed 1,500 students’ total. Today the college is able to
welcome approximately 10,000 students, both as full-time and part-time students. The college offers
more than 30 programs to satisfy its students needs. The college is built on ‘unceded traditional
territory of the Kanien’kehá:ka, and as a school, we honor the land that has made our education
possible. As Dawson College is situated in Montreal, our school represents the diversity in culture,
language, and ethnicity that is so prevalent in the greater Montreal community. Dawson College
